Happy Wednesday (just incase you needed reminding what day it is...) 💛 . . . Today we thought we’d share some positive news that has resulted from the Coronavirus. We’re not in anyway diminishing the absolute devastation it has caused but in times such as now we need as much positivity as possible! . 1) Cases of Covid-19 are decreasing in China and they have shut most of their temporary hospitals as they are no longer needed. They can now see the light at the end of the tunnel after three months. 2) Air pollution is down across the world as production is paused in a number of industries. 3) Venice Canals are the cleanest they’ve been in years and it’s even been reported that dolphins are returning. 4) Italian singers have been singing out of their apartment windows to keep their neighbours happy and entertained. 5) Footballers have been putting their isolation to good use by playing virtual games, raising money for people affected by Covid-19. 6) People are slowing down and spending more time on theirselves and with their families 💛 . . . Definitely getting used to this slower pace of life and these sunnier days 💛 . . . We’re finding ourselves really enjoying and appreciating the smaller things in life currently. A simple walk or cooking a nice dinner is making our day. Before this all happened we were working five days intensely, going away most weekends, flying straight after work on a Friday and coming back late Sunday evening. If we weren’t travelling we were squeezing in dinner dates and drinks with as many friends as physically possible to make sure we were keeping up our social lives as well as our full-time jobs and as well as our business. Looking back on it now it was absolutely exhausting and this restful period has made us question a few things about our life style choices. After all this is over will we continue to travel? Of course. Will we give ourselves some more weekends off to relax and unwind between the travel?
